Val Plummer
Interior designer

Val became part of Junnell’s creative team in 2008 and has worked on every project since. She has input on space planning and colourways, and produces detailed kitchen and bathroom designs. Val specifies tiles, materials and paint; on several projects, she’s put together complete show homes including soft furnishings, custom furniture and artwork.

Hampshire Light
Lighting designers

How the light falls in a home makes a huge difference to its feel and character, so we have always taken lighting design seriously. Working with Hampshire Light has helped elevate the lighting design of our homes to the very highest level. Among the things we consider together are colour temperature and rendering, wall washing, floor washing, uplighting, downlighting and spotlighting.

David Linney
Bathroom designer

In a new project, our initial bathroom layouts are proposed by the architect, then shaped by in-house design with input from our interior designer. It can take several passes before we reach a layout we feel utilises the space in the most satisfying way possible. At that point, a specialist bathroom designer such as David can to take it to the next level, so his product knowledge and creativity are key components in our bathroom designs.

Jay Rixon
Oak-framing draughtmen

Structural oak features have been part of several of our projects. Jay develops the concept ideas, then complete detailed designs and full sets of fabrication drawings. Jay’s hand drawings are as much a pleasure to look at as the completed oak work.

Julian Anderson
Oaksmith

The tradition of oak-frame construction requires a specialist carpenter with knowledge of traditional joinery techniques for heavy timbers. Julian is such a person, being an experienced oaksmith and absolute master of the craft. (And there’s another reason we have the deepest respect for him: in his previous life Julian was one of the most successful professional windsurfers in the UK.)

Nigel Searle
Artist & traditional signwriter

Nigel contributes both design input and architectural visualisation to many bespoke elements in our projects, such as gates, handrails, railings, ornate chimneys, feature brickwork around entrances and custom signage.

Peter Clutterbuck
Architectural blacksmith

Our projects have benefitted from many items of bespoke ironwork made by Peter and his team at The Forge in Southsea. These works of art and sculpture add character and individuality to our special properties.

Barry Chambers
Garden designer

Barry is an RHS award-winning garden designer, and we have benefitted from his involvement in several of our projects. His understanding of garden layout, together with his exceptional plant knowledge, transform the outside spaces of our homes.

Landscape design

Andy and his team have worked on many of the high-end private houses in our area, including Junnell’s. Their showroom is a hotbed of creativity, and somewhere we enjoy visiting for inspiration and to source materials for our hard-landscaping requirements.

Martin Critchell
Architect

We were fortunate to be introduced to Martin by the owner of the site where we built our very first new homes, in the historic centre of Midhurst. In the two decades since, Martin and his team have been involved in many of our projects. He has a superb understanding of local vernacular architecture, as well as a great talent for space planning. Although Martin has now retired from commercial practice, we still collaborate with him to develop and enhance certain elements of some designs.

This architectural studio based in Winchester specialises in sustainable contemporary design and one-off houses. Adam’s understanding of contemporary form is evident in the landmark designs we have created together.

Their portfolio is ever-more impressive – whenever we work together, they add value and contribute to the success of the project.

We have been working with this high-end German brand for more than 10 years, with dozens of their installations going into our projects. Their contemporary kitchens are unmistakeable by their durability and aesthetic quality. We’re proud to showcase Leicht in our work.

Laufen
Sanitary-ware manufacturer

The luxurious feel and understated styling of Laufen products are the perfect choice for our designer bathrooms. Laufen collaborate with internationally renowned designers to develop their designs, which feature in many of our homes. The company is based in Switzerland, but we’re able to visit the LAUFEN Forum in London for updates on their latest products.

Mixer and shower manufacturer

We use only Hansgrohe in our prime residential developments. Their products are the highest quality and have proven reliable over many years. The designs are also timeless, attractive and highly functional. We meet up at their Water Studio in Clerkenwell to find out about new products and trends.
